“ Had excellent food here! Had the machaca platter which came with rice, beans and 4 corn tortillas. Your choice of either corn or flour. They have a small salsa bar with pico de gallo, red sauce, green sauce and pickled carrots. The price was reasonable and the food plentiful! Everything was delicious! I can see why there was a line waiting to order. Food came out fast and hot. Definitely one of the top Mexican food places I've eaten! They are cash only ”
“ My favorite fish tacos in California! Whenever I'm in Borrego Springs I have to stop. The parking lot next to the restaurant has beautiful Palo Verde Trees that provide shade on a hot day which is a lovely spot if you have dogs in the car. Also Los Jilbertos has ice cream if you need to chill out. ”
“ The burger special was super good. Exactly done how wanted it. Kids running around, on and off benches... It seems there are no rules. The mother was too busy to note that, or she doesn't know better. The staff is very friendly and nice! ”
“ The Nak is said to have lettuce, guac, fries beans and carne asada. Couldn't really tell there was lettuce though. The burrito was huge but the taste was nothing special. It's good for a quick fix in the area. Their horchata was pretty good. Service Is friendly and fast! It was quiet on a Sunday night. ”
“ Taco salad with shredded chicken and a large jamaica. Delicious and reasonable. Great salsas and they offer the pickled carrots, onions, jalapenos. The place was jumping at lunch time and the phone rang continuously. Somehow they managed to put out a good deal of food in a reasonable time. Next time - their burritos! ”
